A historic building in Kent available for meetings & parties

The Kent Wells Sherman House • 247 North Water Street • Kent

The Kent Wells Sherman House was saved from demolition by a nonprofit corporation — Kent Wells Sherman House Incorporated (KWSH). The building was relocated from Erie Street to its present location on North Water Street through the generosity of Kent State University, The City of Kent, Kent Historical Society, The Christensen Foundation, Kent Rotary, The Portage Foundation, Hometown Bank,  and a host of other donors and volunteers.

The main level is available for rent by the public for meetings, parties, etc.  Use the menu (above) for details and contact information.

The second floor is office space for attorneys, and the lower level is work space for the business Vows to Video.

Please consider becoming a member of the Friends of the Kent Wells Sherman House. We need help from the public to support and maintain the building, and to continue its restoration over the coming years.
